Billionaire owner Emmett Shaw races to reveal the discovery to the world, bringing journalists, technicians, and believers to witness the moment. When both groups converge on the observatory amid a violent storm, they find it destroyed and its staff missing. Cut off from the outside world, the survivors continue monitoring the transmissions, only to realize the signal feeds humanity’s darkest instincts.
