Jane Wyman interpretava Angela Channing, la tirannica matriarca dell'azienda vinicola Falcon Crest, al fianco di Robert Foxworth nei panni di Chase Gioberti, il nipote di Angela che torna a Falcon Crest dopo la morte del padre. La serie era ambientata nella fittizia Tuscany Valley, a nord-est di San Francisco.

As the wedding reception draws to a close, Angela recalls all the people who passed through Tuscany Valley during the last decade and toasts the future of Falcon Crest.
